Soldiers visit fort la Reine 2015
La Compagnie de La Vérendrye is a living history group from Winnipeg that re-enacts military activity from the 18th century. Getting their wings 2013
The 3 Canadian Forces Flight Training school held its graduation on April 26, 2013, handing out wings to eight pilots.
Long Plain Powwow 2013
Hundreds of people came to Long Plain First Nation's powwow between Aug. 3 and 4, 2013. Dancers from Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Minnesota, and Washington came to compete against one another in colourful costumes and fancy footwork.
Snowbirds 2013
Hundreds of people came out to watch the Snowbirds perform during a practice at Southport on May 24, 2013. Spectators were amazed by the maneuvers the pilots executed.
Ramadan Prayers 2007
In 2007, I was allowed to visit the Wetaskiwin and Leduc Mosque in Alberta during Ramadan. The imam of the mosque only let me photograph the women's side during prayer. I was lucky to get one shot of the men's side before I went behind the curtain.
